ABOUT ME

I believe in beautiful spaces, but I believe furthermore that those beautiful spaces should function properly. I strive to design commercial spaces that create an experience for patrons, and comfortable, livable designs for residential clientele. I feel strongly that design should not be dictated by one style only, but rather a cohesive blend of eras and styles, of personalities and places.

Originally from Rochester, NY, I attended Rochester Institute of Technology and have a bachelor of fine arts in interior design. I lived and worked in Rochester for seven years post grad, and then made the move out west to Aspen, Colorado. I lived full time in Aspen for two years, working at an architecture firm and skiing my heart out. Now bicoastal, I live in Portland/Freeport area of Maine in the summer, and spend winters in Aspen.

I don't live by design...

I don't live by design, but I think it is beneficial to incorporate it into our lives where it makes us happier, or makes our experience better. Aesthetics and beauty are not the most important values a person can have, but living functionally, and being happy in your surroundings can elevate one's day to day life. And when we feel better, we do better.

The mission is to help everyone, whether it be an entire home, or business, or one room that you never go into and it drives you mad to walk by it. Whether it's picking out every material, fixture and light, or just a paint color. My goal is that at the finish of our relationship, you are content.

I love the idea that everyone has an eye for design, but some of us just know how to express it. I want your vision to be seen through my eyes, and help you bring it to life. I want every space to feel like you designed it for you, or for your patrons, just with a little help from a professional.
